The buy now feature allows you to reserve the right to purchase the property. By clicking buy now, and making the deposit, you declare that you intend to purchase the property at listed price, unless prior agreement has been made. You have the option to pay in full or finance the property at the listed price. After payment is made, a representative from Texas Land Holdings will contact you via email associated with your PayPal account or email entered at time of payment. They will clarify if you intend to finance or pay in full, as well as collect your personal information required for closing. From the moment you are contacted, you have 72 hours to make the required down payment, sign the deed of trust/promissory note (if purchasing with seller-financing), or purchase agreement (if purchasing with cash). If you fail to do so you will forfeit the buy now payment, and you will no longer have the property on hold.
For properties NOT being purchased with seller-financing, a $500 earnest money deposit will be due at signing of the purchase agreement unless otherwise noted. The earnest money deposited will be credited to the total purchase price at closing.
